Anyone who is interested in becoming a Amateur Radio operator needs to contact The EARC so we can enroll you into the class we have scheduled beginning in March. We currently plan to meet Saturday mornings beginning at about 9am at the American Red Cross, located at 1023 West Elm Street, Enid, OK. We will be using the Board room located on the North side. Use the NW entrance. Please pass this along to anyone you think may be interested.
Please contact us via email at
Please Review the Service Requests Tab at the top of the web site. We were very busy in 2013 and expect the same in 2014 so please volunteer now for your favorite event or two. When we can spread out the events to several volunteers the coordinator job becomes very easy.
To all of you who helped in 2013, The EARC and Community thanks you!
The new 147.15 repeater at the club station is on the air. It is linked into the 444.4 repeater in Waukomis. It will soon also be linked into the 444.2 repeater near Seiling, OK. That repeater is used for storm spotting in the NW part of the state. Please feel free to use it as you do the .29 repeater. The addition of the 444.4 link greatly extends its range.
We will soon be scheduling a work day. We'll be lowering the club tower to add a couple of link antennas for that purpose. We'll get the word out so we can have plenty of help.
- Echolink is back on line on the 147.375 repeater. Please monitor it for updated club activities.
- Let me know if you have something you'd like to have announced.
