Antenna Build
Tape measure Yagi-Uda build for 2m Band. We will go through the instructions step by step including soldering the coax lead. It has three elements for a bit of gain and should be useful for fox hunting or while attempting ISS contacts. All parts are supplied in the kit and it costs $25 per kit.

GoKit Challenge
The GoKit Challenge is a low (near zero) budget fun activity that brings portable operators together to show their equipment in kit form.
The three categories include:
• Open Category includes all portable kits made for operation on any Amateur Band.
• Over 28 MHz Category which is intended for the Technician Class Amateur operator to
show their Kit.
• Mobile Category is a show of wheeled kits. This can be a car or an RV. I’ve seen a really
well made mobility trike kit.
To join the fun all you must do is register as a participant. If you have a kit you will get a cup. All
registered folks get six tickets to place in their favorite kits cup.
During the day a judge will come around and verify all stations are working. Two contacts are
needed make sure a kit is eligible in there category. At 13:00 the cups will be collected and
tickets counted. Soon after, the awards will be handed out.
So bring your portable and mobile radio kits to the Enid HamFest this November and show off
how your GoKit works. We will have fun showing off the ingenuity you have created.

All those attending the Enid Hamfest must purchase an admission ticket, including those reserving flea market and vendor tables.

You do not need to be a licensed amateur radio operator to attend. This is a great place to learn about the hobby and to get started.

Bring your kids and wives along; children under 16 are admitted free with a paid adult admission.

Note that tickets will not be mailed or emailed. Admission tickets and raffle tickets will be waiting for you at the pre-registration tables as you enter the hall.

The 50/50 "Split the Pot" is a chance to split whatever is in the pot, with Enid ARC, and will be drawn at the end of the Hamfest, November 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm. You MUST be present to win! Price is $1.00 each

LICENSE TESTING
Ready to upgrade or earn your first license? VE Testing will be conducted at 1:30 PM. Please bring two forms of ID and your FCC FRN number. Pre-registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
ADMISSION & PARKING
General Admission: $10.00 per person. Children under 16 are free with each paid adult.
Parking is free.
RV spaces are available - first come, first serve.
