EARC Event Request

Enid Amateur Radio Club Community Event Assistance

The Enid Amateur Radio Club (EARC) assists at community events when and where the event presents an opportunity for the club to exercise skills that are unique to amateur radio, particularly communications, organization, safety, and teamwork. The EARC has been involved with many events in the Enid area for several years, donating almost 500 hours per year of volunteer time and utilizing several thousand dollars worth of personal equipment.

As mentioned earlier, the EARC members are volunteers and we get many requests for assistance. Although we would like to, it is simply impossible to approve every request. Therefore, the further in advance you can submit your request for assistance, the better we can assess our resources for possible approval. The EARC meets the third Thursday of each month (except December).

There is no fee connected to the assistance provided by the EARC. We are a non-profit organization that relies solely on dues from the membership and grants for maintaining and upgrading radio equipment. If a donation is considered, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please note, the Enid Amateur Radio Club is not a substitution for law enforcement or medical personnel. It is the responsibility of each sponsoring organization to secure these if they are necessary.
